If you have ever wondered how beer is made we have got local brewer and founder of Buck Star Datis Gol to show us around his brewery just outside of Wolverton. At full capacity Datis can make 2000 litres of beer in a single cycle with it taking around 10 days to two weeks to go from malt and water to a bottle of beer.Drinkers of the beer can also finish the beer with the peace of mind knowing that it has been produced with the environment in mind. The process to produce the beer uses solar energy collected from panels on the roof to run the various machines on the factory floor.
Datis believes it is the only micro-brewery in the country that makes beer in this way.
Bucks Star was set up around two years ago when Datis left his job at Barclays in the city and perused his passion of brewing beer back in his home town.
The product is yet to be released into the open market but it is hoped that you will soon see the bottles in pubs and bars very soon.
So here is Datis in his brewery talking us through the process of making beer and the machines he uses to produce the refreshing tipple.
